Tsoutsouras Gorge
Sunday, July 5th, 2015
Tsoutsouras gorge is an impressive small gorge going down continuously, with 13 rappels, the highest of which is 32m. The altitude difference is 280m and it’s only 1.5km long, so it is a good start for beginners in cacnyoning.
To reach it we have to walk for 30 minutes on a dirt road and a down-going trail. Crossing it takes about 5 hours per group.
The exit of the gorge is near Tsoutsouras village and it can be combined with a swim in the sea.
Some experience with ropes, heights and rappels is required.
