This brief practice is for relatively experienced hikers who wish to deal with hiking in winter conditions. There will be a demonstration of the use of winter mountaineering equipment to safely hike on snow-covered mountain fields. The location will most likely be Lakkos Mygerou on the northern slope of Psiloritis or somewhere else where the snow is suitable.

Participants must have basic winter gear (winter boots, gaiters, jacket, etc.). Specialised equipment (crampons, ice axe) will be provided by the Club on a first-come, first-served basis.
