Mochos – Malia – Profitis Ilias – Sissi

An outing combining hiking and culture, suitable for everyone, including beginners and children.

We begin our hike from the beautiful traditional village of Mochos (390m), descending along an old stone-built path with wonderful views of the northern coastline.

After the end of the hike, we travel by bus to a point just beyond Malia. From there, following a rural road, we climb to the hill of Profitis Ilias (105m) above Malia, where we admire the panoramic view. On our return, we pass by the Archaeological Site of Malia, which, unfortunately, is not yet open to visitors, as the ongoing works there have not been completed.

Next, we pass by Potamos Beach and, following the coastal trail, we reach the small village of Sissi.
