Keeping tradition alive we organize the New Year Cake Celebration on a mountain every year. This time we go up to Lassithi Plateau.

There is an optional hike in the snowy slopes around. Those who do not wish to hike can go by bus around the plateau,  weather permitting. The day ends with dinner and gift lottery in a local tavern.
