a. Stroumboulas – Marathos

We start our hike from Stroumboulas plateau, at 450m a.s.l. and following a clear path we go up to the small chapel on top, at 800m. We admire the panoramic view to Heraklion Bay and moving westwards along the rocky ridge we end down in the village of Marathos, at 400m.
