Sunday, August 18th, 2019
A hike around the village of Malaki, Rethymnon, at 428m a.s.l. , situated about 20 km away from the city of Rethymnon.
We start from the village of Agios Andreas and we visit a restored Byzantine chapel. Then, following a dirt road, we cross the Petres river. We continue through a small forest and come to a place where a well-known Cretan family produces dairy products. At the end of the hike, provided there is enough time, we may go for a swim at a nearby beach.
The hike is easy and suitable for newbies.
