Nida – Timios Stavros / Psiloritis Peak

The classic route to Timios Stavros, the peak of Mt Psiloritis at 2,456m, the highest peak on Crete.

The hike begins at Nida Plateau following the trail towards Ideon Andron, Zeus Cave. This track starts very soon; it is along E4 European trail and is well marked in red. Rocky terrain that requires special caution in case of snow and/or strong wind.
