Peza – Agies Paraskeies – Kastellos – Melesses

Starting from the village of Peza, we follow a dirt road and enter the village of Agies Paraskies, home to the famous Ali Efendi Fountain, built in 1728. Continuing along dirt roads, we reach the village of Melesses, where the remains of a Venetian fortification are preserved on Kastellos Hill, along with the ruins of the Church of Panagia. In Melesses, at the location known as Patitiria or Patititaraki, part of a vaulted wine press has been preserved.
The hike is easy and suitable for children accompanied by their parents, as well as new hikers.
