Fourfouras – Toumbotos Prinos Refuge – Psiloritis Peak

A winter ascent on Mt Psiloritis Peak from the southern side.

We start our hike on Saturday morning from the village of Fourfouras, at 460m, south of Mt Psiloritis. Following a dirt road and the E4 European Trail, we hike to Toumbotos Prinos Refuge, at 1520m a.s.l., where we spend the night.

On Sunday, we ascend to Mt Psiloritis Peak, Timios Stavros, at 2,456m a.s.l. On our way down, we follow the same route.

Fitness, high experience, and equipment for winter hiking are required for all participants.
