Monopari Gorge

The hike will begin from the settlement of Monopari. Following a dirt road uphill, we reach the ruins of Bonriparo Fortress. There, we see the remains of this impressive fortress, with its panoramic views over the surrounding villages and the Petres Gorge, and learn about its history.

Following a descending trail, we arrive at the riverbed of the Petres Gorge. At the time of our visit, the gorge will be dry. Its vegetation is lush, and the scenery it offers is truly unique.

This route is being organized by our Club for the first time.
