Demati – Choursakas Peak – Dermatos

Sunday 10th May 2026

The starting point of our hike is the historic Church of Agia Paraskevi, located in a beautiful ravine 1.5 km from Demati village.

We walk towards the southeast, initially along a dirt road at the base of a mountain ridge. We then ascend to the  Choursakas peak and continue along the ridgeline, enjoying views to the east over the gorge of Anapodaris and the Viannos Mountains (southern Dikti), and to the west over the Asterousia Mountains.

We then descend towards Dermatos for a swim, or, alternatively, to one of the beaches of Tsoutsouros or Keratokampos (Listis, Skouros, or Limanaki).

This hike is being organized by our Club for the first time.
