b. Mt Psilafi – Koustogerako

Saturday 31st May – Sunday 1st June 2025

On Saturday afternoon, we depart for Omalos in Chania (1080m), where we will spend the night. On Sunday morning, we begin our hike from Xyloskalo (1200m), initially following the trail for a short distance, then continue uphill without a trail and ascend to the peak of Psilafi (1984m), the westernmost summit of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori).

After enjoying the magnificent view of the central White Mountains and the Libyan Sea, we head southwest, descend through the areas of Olisma and Agia Aikaterini, join the E4 trail, and finish at Koustogerako (510 m).

⚠️ Note: There is no water available along the route.

Departure time: Saturday at 15:00 from the Archaeological Museum.
