A picturesque hike passing by two historical monasteries in the eastern Rethymnon area.

We start our hike from a point along the National Road, at 50m a.s.l. Following up a trail we reach the recently restored Vosakos Monastery, at 300m. Then dirt roads and trails lead us uphill to the historical Monastery of Chalepa, at 450m, the end of our hike, where we can admire a beautiful fountain and great view.
