Tavri Refuge – Kastro Peak – Fanari Peak

A weekend in the snowy White Mountains.

On Saturday we hike from the Askyfou Plateau, at 730m a.s.l., up to the Mountain Refuge of Tavri, at 1200m. On Sunday we hike up to the peaks of Kastro, at 2,218m, and Fanari, at 2,190m. We return to Askyfou Plateau following the same path.

A hike for quite fit participants, experienced in winter hikes and equipped with winter mountain gear.
