Full Moon On Afentis Peak

Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd June 2024

A hike up to Afentis Peak, at 2.143m a.s.l., to enjoy the rise of the so-called Strawberry Full Moon.

We start from the Limnakaro Plateau, at 1.115m a.s.l., where we arrive early on Saturday afternoon. At first, we hike along the E4 trail and later we head to Afentis Peak. We reach the top and prepare our stay in tents or sleeping bags, being ready to face the cold on the peak with suitable clothing. Then we are ready to admire the rise of the moon.

On Sunday we follow a trail that leads us to Selakano through a beautiful pine forest.

The hike is suitable for fit and experienced hikers.
