Volikas Refuge – Spathi Peak – Agio Pnevma Peak
Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th February 2024
On Saturday morning the bus takes us to the village of Kamboi in the White Mountains, western Crete, at 580m a.s.l. After a two-hour hike, we reach the Volikas Refuge, at 1400m, where we spend the night.
Early on Sunday morning, we start our ascent to Spathi Peak, at 2048m and Agio Pnevma Peak, at 2283m. The hike is on frozen snowy terrain so know-how, experience and fitness are required.
