b. Kali Limenes – Agiofaraggo

A beautiful easy hike in the south of Crete suitable for newbies and children.

We start our hike from Kali Limenes and following the coastal trail, we pass by the cave/sinkhole of Vourvoulitis. Then we go down into the gorge near the old chapel of St Antonios.

The gorge is beautiful, full of low vegetation and old olive trees, caves and high rock walls at the sides ending in a beautiful beach. It is an important rock climbing sector, where the Cretan climbing community often meet, climb the rocks, have fun and protect the natural environment.

There is going to be enough time for the brave ones to swim in the cool Libyan Sea.
