Melambes – Vouvala

A circular hike in the southern Rethymnon. From the village of Melambes, at 550m a.s.l., we hike along a trail and a dirt road up to the peak of Vouvala, at 946m. From the top, the view of the mountains around and the southern coast is magnificent.

We continue eastwards along the ridge, visit a small chapel, and end back to Melambes following a different route.
