Once every year all Cretan mountaineers meet on a mountain to socialise and hike together. This year this event is organised by our Club and takes place in the area of Fourni, at the foot of Youchtas, near Archanes village.

On Saturday we reach the camping site and set up our tents. Later there are greetings and gift exchanges between the Clubs. Then dinner and a fest follow.

On Sunday there is a guided tour in the Minoan cemetery of Fournia, then a 5-hour hike up to the top of Youchtas, at 811m a.s.l. and down to Pano Archanes village. A light snack is to be served on the top. The event ends at 15.00.

Participants must have their own tent, sleeping bag and cutlery.
