A winter ascent on Mt Psiloritis Peak from the southern side.

We start our hike on Saturday morning from the village of Kouroutes, at 550m, in the south of Mt Psiloritis. Following a dirt road and the E4 European Trail, we hike to Toumbotos Prinos Refuge, at 1400m a.s.l., where we spend the night.

On Sunday we ascend to Mt Psiloritis Peak, Timios Stavros, at 2,456m a.s.l. On our way down we follow the same route.

Equipment, high experience and fitness for winter hiking are required for all participants.

*All participants have got to present a negative rapid test or a vaccination certificate and wear an FFP2 face mask on the bus.
