b. Nida Plateau – Mt Psiloritis Peak

We start our hike very early in the morning from Nida Plateau, at 1450m a.s.l. We follow the E4 trail, which is steep in the beginning, pass by Akollita and reach the Agathias peak, at 2424m. From there we have a breathtaking view of Timios Stavros peak opposite us. Then we continue up to the highest peak of Crete, Timios Stavros, at 2456m. having a magnificent panoramic view over the island of Crete.

We follow the same way back to Nida Plateau.

The technical gear – crampons and ice ax – can be provided by the Club.

*All participants have got to present a negative rapid test or a vaccination certificate and wear an FFP2 face mask on the bus.
