Paleochora – Elafonissi

Saturday 6th – Sunday 7th August 2022

Two days in the exotic southwestern Crete.

On Saturday morning we set off to Grammeno Cape, 5 km past the town of Paleochora, where we will enjoy swimming and setup camp for a night in tents or sleeping bags. In the evening we’ll have the chance to wonder around in Paleochora.

Our hike starts on Sunday morning at the beach named Krios. We continue along the coastal E4 European trail coming across the beautiful beaches of Vienna, Kokkino Ammoutsaki and the famous Kedrodassos. At Elafonissi we’ll have the time to swim in the blue-green waters of the sea, admire the pink beaches and maybe walk until the lighthouse.

Later in the afternoon we return to Heraklion.
