Once every year all Cretan mountaineers meet on a mountain to socialise and hike together. This year this event is organised by the Mountaineering Club of Chania and takes place in the area of Tavri refuge in Strovili, in the White Mountains.

On Saturday we reach the camping site after a two-hour-hike from Askyfou plateau. Our baggage is transferred in trucks. Later there are greetings and gift exchange between the Clubs. Then dinner and a fest follow. We spend the night in tents at 1200m a.s.l.

On Sunday there is a 5-hour hike in the area. Then there is light lunch served and the event ends at 15.00.

Participants must have their own tent, sleeping bag and cutlery.
