A beautiful hike in the full moon of August. Our destination is Selena peak (1558m), on the northern side of the Lassithi Plateau.
On Saturday afternoon we head to Mesa Potami, at 892m a.s.l. We start our hike, first on a dirt road for 2.5 km and then along an easy trail to the top. We enjoy the rise of the full moon and the landscape around in its light. We return following the same trail without any difficulties.
All participants must wear hiking boots, be supplied with a flashlight and batteries, as well as with warm clothes.
