Fourfouras – Leska – Platania Gorge

We start our hike from the village of Fourfouras, at 460m a.s.l., on the southern slopes of Mt Psiloritis. We follow an old trail through woods and past a water spring and reach a location called Leska, at 1484m. Then we follow a dirt road for 4km and enter the upper part of the impressive Platania Gorge. We hike down the gorge following a path with some steep parts admiring the vultures flying above our heads. We end at the village of Platania, at 420m.

The hike is 15 km long. Some hiking experience and good fitness are required.
