b. Askyfou Plateau – Trikoukia – Niato Plateau – Askyfou Plateau

A nice circular route in the unique landscape above Askyfou Plateau.
Starting from the village of Petres, at 730m a.s.l., we hike along an old trail up to Kato Xirokambos Plateau, at 1100m. We continue past Trikoukia, at 1164m to Niato Plateau, at 1200m. Finally, we come back to Askyfou Plateau following a trail in the woods.
Our day ends with a nice swim in the crystal sea of southern Crete.
