Achentrias – Maridaki – Tsoutsouras

A hike in the autumn colours of the southern landscapes of Heraklion.

We start from the village of Achentrias, at 670m a.s.l.  and we follow an old trail that the locals used to reach Maridaki. We hike past a big distinctive rock, called Pytharos, always having the view of the sea in front of us and across a small gorge, we arrive at the settlement of Maridaki. There we have a break for a swim. Later we follow the coastal trail and end in Tsoutsouras.
