a. Psilafi Peak

Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th September 2017

An ascent on the westernmost peak in the White Mountains.

We set off early on Saturday afternoon and spent the night in rooms or tents on Omalos Plateau. Early on Sunday morning we start our hike from Xyloskalo, at 1200m a.s.l. and partly on a path, partly off path we reach the peak of Psilafi, at 1984m. We rest for a while and after admiring the great view we go down, meet the E4 path and finish in Koustogerko village.
