b. Kefalovrysi – Omalos Viannos – Kato Symi

Our beutiful  hike starts from Kefalovrysi village, at 760m a.s.l. and, following an up-going wooded trail, it leads us onto Omalos Plateau, at 1350m, in the greater Viannos area. We cross the plateau and have a rest near Agio Pnevma chapel.

Then we start our way down. We pass by a great view point and a wooded trail leads us to the small village of Kato Symi, where it’s the end of our hike.

Members of the Mountaineering Club of Rethymnon are joining us in this hike.
