On Mt Dikti’s terraces

A hike on the steep cliffs of Mt Dikti that offers magnificent views and thrilling feelings.

We start at the village of Agios Georgios on Lassithi Plateau, at 840m a.s.l., and we hike along a dirt road until the small chapel of Agia Pelagia. We climb the steep northern face of Mt Dikti on and off trail until we reach an altitude of 1800m. Then we continue across the foot of Spathi Peak traversing the mountainside, we come across the E4 trail and go down to Limnakaro Plateau, at 1150m.

Participants must be extremely fit and experienced.
