a. Symi – Psari Madara

A mountain hike on Mt Psari in Dikti mounains.

From the picturesque village of Symi, at 800m a.s.l. we are taken to Lapathos plateau on trucks. Then we start our hike to Psari Madara peak, , at 1860m, past a hiding-place of the greek Resistance during WWII. Then we go up to Afentis peak, at 2141m. On our way down we reach the Omalos plateau, at1350m, and following the classic trail we end in Symi village.

Participants must be experienced and fit.
