Yous Kambos – Panaori – Meronas

A hike in the area of Amari, Rethymnon.

We start from Yous Kambos hoping to see the flower carpet on the valley. We start our hike at 733m a.s.l. and following dirt roads and paths we go up to the top of Panaori at 921m, where we can admire the view. Then we hike down to Meronas village at 620m, where we stay for an hour and a half for a snack or a walk around the narrow streets and old churches.

The hike offers nice views to the mountains around. Good hiking boots and long pants are necessary.
