Kavousano Gorge

Crossing of the Kavousano Gorge in the south of Crete near Viannos and Kertokambos.

The Kavousano or Skotino Gorge is a small gorge with beautiful reddish walls made of solid limestone. It’s well secured, suitable for beginners. There are 22 rappels, the longest of which is 22m.

We end our crossing in Keratokambos, where we can swim in the sea.
