Falasarna – Balos

A relaxing weekend in one of the most beautiful areas in NW Crete.
We set off early on Saturday morning to Falasarna in western Crete, where we take a swim, visit the archaeological site and spend the night in tents or sleeping-bags.
Early on Sunday morning we start our hike enjoyng unique views and passing by some demanding spots. We end in the exotic beach of Balos, where we can enjoy swimming in the crytal clear blue-green waters. In the late afternoon we get on the boat that takes us to Kastelli Kissamou.
Alternatively, participants who do not wish to hike can go by bus to Kastelli on Sunday morning, take the boat and join the whole tour to the inhabitant island of Gramvousa, where they can visit the old fortress, and then we sail to the beuatigul beach of Balos. In the late afternoon they join the hiking team and take the boat back to Kastelli.
