Stroumboulas – A free hike

The Mountaineering Club of Heraklion and the Municipality of Heraklion organise a free hike for everybody on Stroumboulas, the hill to the wet of the city.

We start our hike from Stroumboulas plateau, at 450m a.s.l. and following a clear path we go up to the small chapel on top, at 800m. We admire the panoramic view to Heraklion bay and moving westwards we go down the path until Doxa, at 400m.
