Ancient Lato, Avdeliako – Kritsa

A day in the area of Kritsa that combines culture and hiking.

The day starts with a guided tour in Greek in the Byzantine church of Panayia Kera and its frescos and the Dorian city of Ancient Lato, which we reach after a 20-minute hike.

Afterwards, we go up to Katharo plateau by bus and we start our hike from the small settlement of Avdeliako, at 1250m a.s.l. down to the village of Kritsa, at 400m, passing through forested areas and along old trails.
