34th Pancretan Mountaineering Event

Saturday 13th – Sunday 14th September 2014

Once every year all Cretan mountaineers meet on a mountain to socialise and hike together. This year this event is organised by the Mountaineering Clubs of Mires and takes place in the beautiful Rouvas Forest.

On Saturday there are gretings and gift exchange between the Clubs . Then dinner and a fest follow. We spend the night in tents in Agios Ioannis in Rouvas Forest.

On Sunday we all together hike to a place called Dyo Prini with a great view over the whole forest. The hike takes 2 1/2 hours all together. Then there is light lunch served and the event ends at 14.00. Optionally  we can hike down the Rouvas gorge to Zaros lake in 2 hours.
