(Ελληνικά) α. Κορίτσι – Βρομωνερό

Our hike starts 2 km away from the chapel of Agia Marina, at 1300m a.s.l., on the way from Anogia to Nida Plateau. We go down to Koritsi Plateau and Vromonero forest following trails and dirt roads.

The Vromonero forest is ituated on the eastern slopes of Mt Psiloritis, just under Skinakas Observatory. It’s a Prickly-oak forest with Cretan maple trees and lentisc, which look very beautiful in autumn colours. We end our hike at Agia Irini Monastery near Krousonas village, at 650m.

This hike is suitable for beginners and children accompanied by their parents.
