Katharo – Selakano – Metaxochori

A hike in the beautiful Cretan autumn nature staring from Katharo Plateau (1200m), heading south to the pine tree forest of Selakano (930m) and, following  the gorge of Parsas, ending in the village of Metaxochori (680m).

The route follows theE4 European trail and passes through very beautiful surroundings, part of the European program Natura 2000. Its length is 17.4 km, 8 of which on a dirt road and the rest on a foot trail.
