Lagou – Karfi Peak – Tzermiado

An easy hike for every hiker to a beautiful peak.

Our hike starts from the village of Lagou at 850m a.s.l. on the Lassithi Plateau. Following a stone-built trail we hike up to Karfi peak at 1100m, where there used to be an ancient Minoan settlement. The view from up there is fantastic. Then moving eastwards we cross the Nissimos Plateau at 940m at the foot of Mt Selena and we end in the village of Tzermiado at 850m.
