3-day Trekking in the White Mountains

June 18th – 19th – 20th, 2016

We set off on Saturday afternoon to Omalos Plateau , Chania, at 1080μ a.s.l.,where we spend the night.

Very early on Sunday morning we start our trek. We hike up to Psari Peak at 1817m and Melindaou Peak, at 2133m and then down to Potami. Following E4 trail we hike past Katsiveli, at 1970m and onto the top of Pachnes, the highest peak in the White Mountains, at 2452m and then we go down to Zarani and the village of Anopolis, at 650m, where e spend the night in rooms.

On Monday we go down the Aradena Gorge until Livaniana village. Then we follow the E4 European Trail westwards, pass by Loutro and end up near Chora Sfakion.

Participants in this trekking must be quite fit and experienced.
