An easy and interesting hike in the area of Merabello, Lassithi.

From the village of Vrouchas, at 200m a.s.l. we follow the coastal trail that leads us to Aforesmenos Lighthouse. The sea is usually rough there and the waves are spectacular. Then we go up to Agios Ioannis chapel and following a dirt road with view to Spinalonga Island we end in Plaka for a swim. Optionally we may visit Spinalonga Island.
