Gramvousa – Balos – Falasarna in full moon
Two relaxing days in one of the most beautiful areas in Crete on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July 2014.
We set off early on Saturday morning to Kastelli, Kissamos in western Crete, where we take the boat.
We sail to the inhabitant island of Gramvousa, where we visit the old fortress. Then we sail to the exotic beach of Balos, where we can enjoy swimming in the crytal clear blue-green waters. We spend the night in tents or sleeping bags in the full-moonlight.
On Sunday we set off westwards to Falasarna enjoying great views but also some demanding passages. Those who do not wish to hike can remain in Balos and return to Kastelli by boat.
We arrive back in Heraklion late in the evening.
