Mathia – Mikros Afentis
This week our hike is scheduled on Saturday and not on Sunday due to the Greek election. So, on Saturday, May 17th we are climbing up to Mikrow Afentis peak on Dikti Mountains.
We set off from the village of Mathia at 560m a.s.l. with its beautiful byzantine churches and we walk along a wooded but steep upwards trail. The landscape changes constantly on our way. We reach the top, Mikros Afentis, at 1587m., where we can admire the view.
We take the same way back to return.
