Prinos Refuge – Voluntary work

The Mountaineering Club of Heraklion invites its members and friends to volunteer their time and actively participate in carrying out the necessary maintenance work, so that the mountain shelter will be ready to welcome visitors throughout the winter. The tasks include transporting supplies, cutting and carrying firewood, and cleaning.

Travel to and from the site will be by private car as far as Gorgolaini Monastery, followed by 4WD vehicles to Xirokampos.

The Club will provide participating volunteers with free accommodation and meals.
