Paxnes Summit, White Mountains

Saturday, 26th – Sunday, 27th September 2026

On Saturday morning, we depart for Anopolis, Sfakia (600 m). From there, pickup trucks transfer us to Rousies (1,900 m), where, following the classic trail, we start our hike up to Pachnes Peak (2,453 m), the highest peak of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori).

We then return and descend to Anopolis, where we spend the night. Accommodation is in tents. Anyone wishing to stay in a room needs to make the necessary arrangements themselves.

On Sunday morning, starting from Anopolis, we hike to Agia Ekaterini, where we start our hike down to Loutro. We then head east, passing through Glyka Nera beach, and finish our hike in Chora Sfakion.
