Mt Kryoneritis

Our hike will begin from the village of Alones, Rethymno (510m). Following a trail, we reach the summit of Kryoneritis (1,310m), after first passing by the chapel of Agio Pnevma (Holy Spirit), where there is a spring with cold water.

We then continue uphill towards the summit of Vrountouvas and, following a trail that in some sections is intersected by a dirt road, we finish at the village of Ano Rodakino (220m).

This hike is co-organized with the Rethymnon Mountaineering Club (EOS Rethymnon).
