b. Plati – Mikros Afentis – Agios Charalampos

Our route starts from Plati (852m). We follow a trail and then a dirt road to ascend to the summit of Mikros Afentis at 1,577m. After enjoying the panoramic views over the wider Lasithi Plateau area and the surrounding peaks, as well as the plain and its villages stretching as far as Psiloritis in the background, we begin our return.

Most of the descent takes place off-trail and over rocky terrain. The hike ends at Agios Charalambos.
