a. Lakkos Mygerou – Psiloritis Peak – Stalistra

Sunday 8th March 2026

Our starting point is the refuge at Lakkos Mygerou (1,580m). We ascend to the summit of Agathias (2,424 m), the second-highest peak of the Psiloritis mountain range. Moving along the ridgeline, we reach Ida orTimios Stavros, the highest peak of Crete (2,456m).

After enjoying the panoramic views, we continue towards the summit of Stalistra (2,336 m). Heading west along the ridge of Spathi, we arrive at Lakkos Modi. From there, following an eastern route, we return to Lakkos Mygerou.

Excellent physical condition, knowledge of proper equipment use, and prior experience in winter ascents are required.
