// Psiloritis Trek: Nida Plateau – Timios Stavros

The classic autumn crossing of Psiloritis offers both new and experienced mountaineers the chance to enjoy the mountain’s majesty just before it is dressed in white!

We set off very early in the morning from the Nida Plateau (1450m) and follow the classic trail to the summit of Psiloritis, Timios Stavros (2456m).

From there, we descend southwest towards the EOS Rethymno refuge, Toumbotos Prinos (1400m). After a rest, we continue along a forested trail until we reach the village of Fourfouras (500m).
